Gifting system issue?

Has anyone messed with the gifting system yet, and been successful? My buddy gifted me the System Takeover bundle for Pathy, last Thursday. It took a good 5 minutes for the purchase to register and take his Apex coins, but I still do not have the skin on my end. He submitted a ticket to get a refund over the weekend, but haven't heard back as of yet. It was the weekend, so hopefully he will hear back today or tomorrow, and get his refund. Definitely not letting $25 disappear into the void, Lmao! Anyone have any luck with the gifting system so far?

@dSKyNafinchin Rip the $25, never tried it but from what I seen on youtube the system was "I guess is still" broken.

@jaygates879I mean, he'll definitely be getting his money back, one way or another. I was just curious if anyone had messed with it yet, and had any success. Just hoping he doesn't have to get the refund through his bank and risk a ban. That'll be the end of Apex for him, and I'd be stuck playing solo, Lmao!

@dSKyNafinchin Based on what Jay said, I assume there are examples of it not working on YouTube.

One thing tho- never ever do a charge back. You will for sure lose your account on PS. Not sure about the other systems. I know it's something you didn't receive but is it really worth an entire account?

@hayhor It's not my account, but he said if he doesn't get a refund from them, he'll get it from his bank and just leave EA behind if he gets a ban. He has all documentation of the purchase, and documentation of the items not being in my inventory, so there's quite literally no reason to deny a refund. He just hasn't heard back yet, to my knowledge. I need to see where he submitted a claim though, as I'm not sure which customer support he went through.

Personally, I would have advised him against dropping the money to gift it to me, but I didn't get a warning. Just got hit with a "Yo, check your inventory for Pathy skins. You should have a new one.", Lol

As a father of 3 and living in the midst of a cost of living crisis, i would love to be able to gift things, I'm talking about xmas let alone apex!

WOW! A 20 pound bird for about $2.50 (for us US dummies). That's amazing.
