Gold is a Sweaty Mess
Used to be things didn't get intense until Play but I guess with the changes a lot of former higher tiered players are sweating it out in Gold. Every single game today has been sweats.

@hayhor Pros think that last split was the best one on the game yet, so that tells you a lot about how we should take their opinions. They definitely don't represent what the majority of the community thinks.
Funny enough that it was "the most fun to watch ranked split", though it was the split where most twitch views dropped because of how boring it was xd
- @MrCarri-X Exactly right. Most fun to watch should have increased viewership. I stopped watching certain streamers because they started playing so passively. Not Shiv tho. Still only knows one way.

The below site suggests that to get a good sample rate of 113,000,000 you would need to 2,400 participants, which would need over 12,000 invites.
How to randomise that to get a good representation of the player base, I don't know, but asking the top players is in no way statistically significant.
