It describes, in an only slightly different context, the exact process you described where Apex mobiles lures you in with fake matches in the hopes you will a) spend money and b) hang around as fodder to lure in better players. This is how the entire online universe works. This is their business model. This is what they think of us lowly consumers. This is why I'm not on any social media platform, and use google and amazon as little as possible. This is what the world has come to.
@reconzero Well, at least I called it. I didn't think it was possible I did that much better against real players with a touchscreen over a proper controller.
