- @Cro_Pittt Came here to post this but you beat me to it lol. I'll just also include this link to a story. Crazy thing is it win game of the year on Google Play & Apple's App Store! Who shuts down an award winning game less than a year old? Pretty sure the staff is being rerouted to other projects.

Pubg mobile makes in 1 day what apex mobile makes in a month. The apex we know probably makes that 40 million in the blink of an eye during an event or store sale. It's a business decision.
- @Cro_Pittt Why would they refund it? Again, when you load coins you do so at your discretion. I have 6k apex coins sitting right now. They could shut it down tomorrow and I couldn't do a thing about it.
The only thing that would be shady at this point is if they kept selling stuff after the announcement. - @hayhor Launched on mobile on May 17, 2022. So about 8.5 months.
Just shows their lack of respect for the game's players. My favorite part of the announcement was this:
"[We] are confident that this is the right decision for players."

I played a few matches on my phone about a month after it came out. Knew it was a money grab when one of the first matches I played, even though my Apex PC stats are TERRIBLE, looked like this:
Yes, that is 9 kills, AND A SOLO WIN, at game level 3. No way that wasn't throwing me easy or even BOT opponents, just to trick me into spending real money before they fed me to better players to get THEM to spend money. My record kills in one match in the real game is 4. Just 4.
Crazy announcement "glad I was one of the people who didn't bother, rip Fade and Rhapsody". So who thinks - A. Not enough profit, B. Ea / Tencent fallout, C. both ?
- @Cro_Pittt I'm actually sad about this , honestly i didn't play it much but it felt nice to know that the game is there and ready to get in anytime anywhere.
well, never take anything for granted , it was very good game except for the MM.
it felt like every single lobby is filled with bots , maybe it was.
anyway, RIP ☹️
