I was playing Apex and my gun disappeared in the middle of a match.

Loba can only take items from deathboxes, supply bins, vaults or the ground.
If you had just picked up this weapon that vanished the chances are you hit a lag spike, and the gun was simply reverted back to its original position pre looting.
If not then it's a bug, and the bug report section would be the bst place to report it.
@MandatoryIDtagIf he dropped his gun at the wrong time a Loba might have took it. It's really hard to know without seeing the game play of what happened. I'm still waiting for a Loba to steal a purple armor from me. See purple armor in a building go running towards it only for it to vanish.. I know it's going to happen sooner or later.
Have you seen the floating loot? Some of the guns are sort of floating above the ground at the moment. Some of the loot in bings is floating a bit as well..

Is Loba worth playing. I main BH, Caustic secondary, Mirage third. I have Crypto and Rev E. Nant too but don't like playing either of them. Wattson is pretty dull too. Loba is the only one I've never played.
