@Marge010 Luckily, I'm still enjoying Apex. That being said, I have only played 2 total matches since Halo dropped last Monday. I'm 30+ and have been playing since CE launched, so Infinite is a breath of fresh air!! I absolutely love it already!!
Jurassic World Evolution 1 or 2 are great games. 2 just released, and I've been having a blast!
Farming Simulator is a super fun and relaxing game. I've passed many a day, simply farming
There's a free BR game that is hilarious to play, called Realm Royale, which I have fun playing from time to time. It is VERY different from Apex. When you get knocked, you turn into a little chicken and can run around and try to evade the person that knocked you. If you survive long enough, you turn back to normal and can carry on. It is friggin HILARIOUS!!!
Assassin's Creed is also a fantastic franchise, and Splitgate is fun (but I haven't touched it since Halo dropped, Lol)
Hopefully you can benefit from a break from Apex, and can get back to having fun on here!! I play many games on a daily basis, so I never really get tired of one game. I have gotten burned out on CoD over the years, but that's about the only game I just wont touch these days. There's a lot of fun stuff out there, which aren't BR games

- 4 years ago@dSKyNafinchin I saw people complaining that the BP in Halo is hard to finish since it requires you to do challenges to progress. But isn’t that just like apex? If there’s an xbox exclusive game that I’m really jealous of, it’s Forza Horizon. That game looks so good and it’s the arcade racer I need right now. I need to save up for a gaming pc and stop being an apple sheep. Lol.
- dSKyNafinchin4 years agoHero@Cheese9Man Haha yea, it works basically like Apex, but it's never been like that in Halo games, so people are complaining. 343 already tweaked the challenges during week 1, to ease up on BP progression though. I gained several levels during my session last night. Anyone coming from Apex will have no issues with it though. As an old school Halo player, and an Apex player, it's fine by me!
I haven't played Forza since.... I can't remember! I've always been a Grand Turismo fanboy, to be honest. Love those games. I did play the Forza that was the Fast & Furious release. Like you though, I need to just start saving up for a gaming PC. I started gaming on PC way back in the day, but have been on console since original Xbox/Halo released. I hate being hindered by controllers!! I will never play another FPS game on controller, once I have a gaming rig. Not gonna derail this thread, but I'm sure you can tell what I'm getting at XD - hayhor4 years agoHero@Cheese9Man I downloaded the new Forza on my PC last week. It runs on low settings but is incredibly fun. The Xbox gamepass is $1 for 3 months here so I thought I'd see if it would work and it does. Yay!
- 4 years ago@hayhor I’m jealous! The closest thing we have on playstation is the need for speed franchise and isn’t even at the same level as forza horizon. The more simulator type of racers like Gran Turismo and Project cars isn’t my cup of tea. 😢😞
- 4 years ago@Cheese9Man One problem is that there are four set challenges given at any time in halo for you to complete. You have to complete those challenges to get to the other weekly challenges. Your unable to complete them out of order like in apex. One challenge done next challenge in line comes to replace it which makes for an unnecessary way for battle pass progression.
- dSKyNafinchin4 years agoHero@DK9027 Well, you definitely have a point there. It's not a deal-breaker for me though. I've been knocking out challenges like Mike Tyson (no ear biting though)
@Cheese9Man Wait, is Forza not a racing simulator anymore? I thought it was always the Xbox version of Gran Turismo? I loved the old NFS games, but haven't really enjoyed any of them since Most Wanted: Blacklist. I wouldn't mind trying out a different "arcade-y" racing game
