unless you are like me,
My ticker doesn't tick because I have all heirlooms. So any pack I open without an heirloom in the pool doesn't count to 500. There's several dev responses on this.

Yes,
Battle Pass, Event, and Collection packs all count toward the count.
If you roll an heirloom box under 500 boxes, the count gets reset.
