High MMR players and lower MMR players are experiencing different things

400 total games played. All solo queue. Played on PSN on Eastern server 200 on my main (high MMR) 200 on my intentionally below average to average account I tried my best to record the average wai...

Yes these games were all BR. If I had to highlight one positive, its that nearly 100% of my games gave me at LEAST one Masters or Diamond or 4k 20bomb teammate (on the main account). I even had a few games where both of my teammates had predator badges showing. I call this a positive, but it does support the reality that “top bucket” lobbies exist and are brutal.

This is positive because you are yourself a master/pred level player and were being matched appropriately, or because the prospect of not having to worry about scrub teammates made the games more enjoyable, not to mention that it can be nice to be carried once in a while???

    @reconzero Yep, and those matches were still equally brutal and taxing to play in. I feel like players in lobbies like those should receive some sort of incentive/compensation (like double exp or something), because RP not being on the line when that much proficiency is needed feels pretty bad (even with strong teammates).

      Wait. What? Did you not realize that you were in the pubs queue? Did you not know that game play is its own reward in pubs, easy or hard? Should ranked give out points based on how much you had to sweat, regardless of kills, damage, or placement?

        @reconzero What he means is why have two modes if they both have the same MM?

        I tend to agree with that but for a different reason. Why have 2 modes at all? Why do games need a ranked mode? I think its just to give people something to shoot for which is fine but then just make ranked pubs and get rid of pubs.
