I solo queue and I realized most D players only play with parties and usually leave the 3rd player behind so I decided to just pick legends who benefit myself. Hence blood hounds tracking skills to avoid fights or better prepare for them.
Match ended with me having 3kills/assist and the same for him since we just wiped the last squad ourselves while they looted. The Bangy kept screaming into the MIC saying we were bad but again, if you can't make you teammates follow you, ya might as well follow them and see where it takes ya.

I feel ya. Made it to d4 solo for the most part as crypto. Played aggressive last pass thru of plat. Got dropped and went for quick kills and rotated storm.
My question is what makes a bad teammate? Kind of subjective tbh.
For me bad is jump masters who don’t ping where they are going or float or fly into the side of a mountain. Someone said earlier that those complaining about bad teams were probably ones themselves. I agree right now I play the way I want to. I am not going to spend my free time teaching someone over and over again landing trainyard is stupid. Nor am I going to assume my level 35 Jm has a clue so I mute my squad pings and land wherever I think I might have a fighting chance of good rotations and surviving. I get a fair amount of top threes and a couple of wins solo. Not really much different than Fortnite, but at least they give you the option of squad fill or not.

A bad teammate is one separates from the other two players or does their own thing alone.
Sometimes I go off on my own to loot and I know that makes me a bad teammate for not sticking together and looting together.
Beyond that, as long as everyone is close to one another, its all up to skill there.
