For about a month Ive had HORRENDOUS lag issues all while having over 200 mbps and down. So the problem OBVIOUSLY lies with EA and their servers. Why not take a portion if that micro transaction money that youve been * people for, and apply it to your * SERVERS instead of your WALLETS. Id olay and buy a WHOLE LOT MORE if I could actually play the game

We should go through some connection troubleshooting to see if we can find out what's causing these connection issues. First, are you on a wired or wireless connection? Also, I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

Ive got a wired connection. Ive turned it on and off so many times. Ive ran a new lan cable, Ive gone through my router settings, opened my NAT and prioritized my PS5. Its Only with Apex and when I try to turn off crossplay it seems that Im the only human in the midwest playing Apex on PS. So Im not sure what the deal is but something isnt working properly.

@Anonymous Thanks for those details. Just to be clear, did you follow the steps I mentioned? Just turning your router on and off doesn't accomplish all those power cycling steps. You also should leave it off for 2 minutes instead of quickly turning it off and on again. If that has been done, try using alternate DNS settings with the steps here. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.

I'll try changing the DNS servers tonight. Ive messed with that before at my old house and didnt really notice any change. I left the router off all day while I was at work 2 or 3 days ago and it didnt seem to do anything.

@Anonymous I'm definitely not a tech support person, but it might not hurt to give your ISP a call as well, so they can check the connection from their end, just in case. I had an issue years ago on Xbox 360, and it ended up being on my ISP's side of things. They were able to resolve the issue and my connection stability was back. Just another option, in case the settings don't help.

So Ive followed every instruction and piece of advice and yet I still am having severe rubberbanding, screen freezes, etc. If I didnt have 2000+ hours in Apex Id just delete it because its unplayable now. Im going to continue to try new methods and see what if something sticks before I just stop playing all together.
