So you're in a gold lobby with players who made it to predator 10 seasons ago. That's how ranks work. Everybody resets at the beginning of a new season. If they just hand a pred badge to every predator on the first day of the season then they have no grind and no reason to even play. I'm not saying that makes it right or okay. I'm just saying that's how it works. That's how it's always worked. It's yet another reason, among oh so many, to NEVER PLAY ANY RANKED MODE IN ANY GAME EVER. It's a scam. It was 25 years ago in Halo 2 and you know what's changed since then? Nothing.
