How has hit reg been for new season so far?
I haven't tried console yet this season, but pc has been pretty bad for hit reg. I was able to get 158 damage in one match, but one player who didn't even have a gun during the hot drop would not go...

Seems to me about the same as always to me (much like bot royale). I can do what I think of as okay amounts of damage, and everyone shooting back at me is using a pistol at mid-range and landing every bullet. But I think that's a matchmaking thing, not a hit reg thing.
The only thing I noticed is that my preferred gun, the tripletake, was a much more serious weapon at launch than it is now. I know they said they "buffed" it for this season but you'd never know it having just come out of a match using the "season zero" version.
- @reconzero I don't think it's a matchmaking or skill issue because it's happening to way too many people. Most that I run into online are having the same issue, with zero damage matches or getting very low damage while others take them out with what seems like one hit. (Rapid fire)
I think it has gotten so bad the only people able to play the game now are the ones using those controller boxes. Tonight I did 3 matches with a live streamer who got zero damage in every match. One match us and our opponents spent half the match shooting at each other between 2 buildings and nothing was happening. I would put a whole spitfire mag into a bloodhound, and he would put a whole flatline mag into me and this went back and forth until the ring came in. Had the other team been cheaters they would have beat us. It's sad the game has gotten that bad where non cheaters cannot even do anything. It sounds like every legit player is having a similar experience, some think it's the matchmaking because they don't realize what's happening. I hope they do something about the hit reg problem and cheaters soon.
