How long do you think Apex gonna last?

Lets just say if another game come out by another company not ea and its got similar mechanics i would say bye bye ea.

I think it really depends on this next season. They really need to come out with a big update including some new features. The game is a lot of fun but there is nothing keeping the player interested/ invested into the game. They need more content period. Something as easy as adding challenges for small rewards or bonuses. I mean they don't need to reinvent the wheel here, there are many games out already with similar features. It's time for them to step up and make season 2 the turning point in the right direction. If not, the game will slowly fade with time or until the next hit BR is released. Good Luck!

World of Warcraft is still going strong as an example, despite countless claims from disgruntled gamers that it would die.

I feel like Season 2 will be make or break... I'm hopeful but nervous. I've really enjoyed my time as a console player but I'm getting burnt out of the same repetitive stuff.

I’m starting to lose interest in the game as well. Especially when you run with a good squad it’s starts to get too easy or too repetitive. New content needs to start rolling out to keep people interested. I heard PUBG just had some new updates so i might switch back.

I am 100 percent with you on repetitive ness when you play with a good squad but a matchmaking system would fix that and this game desperately needs matchmaking

I can agree that ranked matches would be a great feature for the game.

I personally think that only a full premade should be able to que up tho. My exp playing many competitive team-based games is that high ranking gained from random que lobbies means literally nothing.

In moba's mid tier full premade players, are significantly better than highest rank solo que players.

In solo que ranked games, bads will always get carried to any rating.

Well there are mixed opinions about this but i think if they are able to patch some bugs and get the anti-cheat to detect cheating faster apex has a bright future ahead.

I'm curious what they will add coming seasons and with the right balance and mind set, i'm sure those things can work out.

Game has some issues that hinders the success imo.

-No real progression system. If you are lvl 100, you don't really have a reason to play. And at lvl ~50 the progression is so extremely slow it's not even funny. I get you can just play because its fun but let's be honest - most games have some kind of progression so that you keep playing. Apex has no ranked, no goal to work towards, I think that is quite important these days .

-Lack of matchmaking. Being put in a team with people who don't know what they are doing, people playing solo because there is no solo queue option leaving you with 2 squads,  instant leavers... Playing apex non-premade is one of the most unfun situations and I have no problems playing various moba's solo. That's saying a lot.

-Lack of updates in general and specifically quality updates. Games like these need to have a constant stream of updates to be alive imo. Apex doesn't deliver on that front.

-Prices are insanely high. 18 bucks a skin in a fps? Highest I've seen so far in any game tbh. The lootboxes are one of the worst I've seen as well, I think these are the worst chances for good stuff I've seen so far. Not to mention the quality of skins in general is pretty lackluster to begin with imo.

Also cheaters. This game could be so much better. It had a really good start but a rapid decline since release. Something needs to change, fast imo.
