I think anyone that has exploited ranked should be reverted to bronze with zero RP. As for banning people I don’t think anyone should be banned for exploiting however things like hacking should involve permanent bans. For example quitting the game with the method that respawn has recently addressed does not give the players that use the method a unfair competitive advantage over any other players. The main effect the exploit has on other players is having more players in higher rank lobby’s thereby helping people find matches in higher ranked lobby’s. Finding a game in diamond or predator in my country Australia and many other countries is a complete waste of time the only options you have are to wait ridiculous amounts of time or to join an American server. Respawn have adjusted what ranks can match make with each other based on time and location in effort to make up for the issue but wait times are still far from ideal not to mention it really isn’t a long term viable option given games become much less competitive as a result thereby defeating the purpose of ranked in the first place similar to the exploits. The main downside to the exploits is higher ranked lobby’s end up becoming less competitive because you end up with players who couldn’t reach the higher ranks without the use of these exploits. At the same time if a player is good enough they will get to the rank they want with or without the exploits but using the exploits gets them in the rank they belong quicker reducing the grind for them and as a result lower ranks become even more competitive for the people who can’t get to the higher ranks.
