How much do you value communication?

@Axs5626Sxa5001 Last night I had a first- I got matched with a duo, one with a masters badge and trail. They had mics on and were chatting. After we wiped the first 2 teams we landed with I thought I better put my mic on to help them (I had 4 of the 6 kills and 1k damage at this point). I hesitated because the masters player seemed like a bit of a *. When I started speaking the masters player told me immediately to mute my mic because he wants to hear others better. Even tho the two of them were talking the whole time. When I asked if there was something wrong with my mic he said just mute it and follow along and try to keep up. His buddy giggles and says man that was kinds harsh. It was at that moment I said do not worry I'll fix this for you and left the game. This is why a lot of people just don't use mics or mute others. There's just so many toxic people out there.

@hayhor Horrible. I absolutely hate people who intentionally try to be rude to other players.

Toxic behavior absolutely results in people not using their mics. It just sucks to be the guy who isn’t toxic who wants to leverage coms to increase the likelihood of winning.

Apex is hard (obviously). Having just one team in your lobby at your own skill level using voice coms can be totally detrimental to your chances to wins.

But I do understand why you and many others have mics off as a default. But if you run across someone asking to use coms, please please please work with them, lmao.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 But you also realize that not all higher skilled players have the same mindset. What I'm saying is if a player was toxic on mic when they started the game, & they make their way to higher skilled lobbies, do you think their toxicity is instantly going to go away & they'll communicate maturely & rationally?

@Axs5626Sxa5001 Comms are no 1 after aim, if people are willing to listen and are able to understand.

I don't talk to randoms bc they are from a diff region. I don't speak French.

THIS IS WHY I CANT TAKE APEX SERIOUSLY, COMPETATIVELY. BECAUSE I GET "WHATEVER" TREAMMATES WHILE PEOPLE IN THE US ARE LIKE "LOOK AT ME, I'M SO GOOD" ...F*CK THAT. You are not.

Can't even play at your level fairly yet you expect me to compare stats like it's equal? WHAT A JOKE, JESUS.. Apex can and will never be a fair competitive game, Period.

A lot of "skill" depends on servers and ping and abilities...just pure bs if you ask me.
