How to avoid, defeat and execute third-party attacks
Third-partying is when a squad ambushes a team another squad shortly after the ambushed squad emerges from a battle victorious. The assailants will see no hardship in taking out the victims as chances are, they wouldn't have had time to recover from the previous scrimmage.
This guide will help you avoid, defeat and execute a third-party.
Avoid
If you want to avoid a third-party, you'll need a good idea of how many enemy teams are in your area. Crypto is just the character to get this intel, so I'd recommend running a Crypto on your team if you really want to avoid a third-party. If there are more than two squads in the area, I would not recommend starting a fight unless you have to.
When in a fight and there are some other squads in the area, finish the fight as quickly as possible, leaving no opening for the enemy to recover or escape, which will elongate the fight and get more attention.
Also, defensive strategies like camping can ward off people thinking about attacking.
Defeat
After a fight, recover and heal before reviving your allies. If you have no way to respawn them then prioritise reviving an ally if they have less than 15 seconds left.
This will make you so much more prepared for a potential ambush.
This as well as giving them a taste of their own medicine. If possible, hide and attack when they least expect it.
Unfortunately there's not much you can do to survive other than expect it to happen and be prepared.
Execute
Although it is seen as "toxic", I HIGHLY recommend you third-party when you can.
First, locate an ongoing battle. Get there as soon as you can so the victims will have less time to prepare.
Hide and watch the battle. When it's over leave little room for the enemies to recover or escape. You can lose the advantage in seconds if they heal or escape. Finish it quickly to stop a 4th or 5th party from getting involved.
