- 6 years ago@Huntinwabits not quite. it was caused by fullscreen, and whatever other tweaks i did made the tearing show up going borderless window fixed the tearing.
this video has nothing to do with overclocking.- 6 years ago@gg123xyz well as I stated messing with them setting Obviously made your Card go the wrong way, Why you are having problems in Full screen. I would suggest putting them all back to Default, Make sure Updated Gpu driver is installed restart PC, you shouldn't have that problem.
- 6 years ago@Huntinwabits i tried it your way. i did two tests. first for both tests i turned off both msi afterburner and rivatuner and let my pc cool down a half hour then started again, i set the game to fullscreen and lowest video settings and 4gb ram, 1280 720 p same as desktop resolution 60 hz.
first test i had a hard time seeing the tearing because my fps was 144 or close to it, so if there was tearing the fps was so fast it covered it up, to test this theory i made the fps 60 fps using this code;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMYViCoASd4
that made the tearing clearly visible in the spot the big water dog is in where the bridge was as i wander into the caves, and a lot of other times like going up the hill where the respawn point is in the mountain.
there was no overclocking sw no funny tweaks it was all stock. i will now test with turning fullscreen to borderless window i shouldnt see any more tearing.
