  • the default greyscale in negativescreen has something looking like 666, which i find distasteful, so i adjusted it a bit and it still works maybe even better.

    right click negativescreen, click edit configuration, open with notepad, scroll to the bottom where it says win+alt+f11 and the matrix values use these matrix values instead, just erase the previous matrix values and put these in the exact spot of the previous matrix values;

    Grayscale=win+alt+F11
    { 0.27, 0.27, 0.27, 0.0, 0.0 }
    { 0.7, 0.7, 0.7, 0.0, 0.0 }
    { 0.1, 0.1, 0.1, 0.0, 0.0 }
    { 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0, 0.0 }
    { 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0 }

    it just makes the screen use black and white color instead of red green blue colors.

  • i updated the color above it was too bright, in the ring it was blinding.

  • I had no idea it was even possible.

    Which reminds me, I really gotta set aside some money for a VR headset so I can play the VR version for Skyrim.

    yeah its nice to play regular 2d games in the rift using virtual desktop flat screen, i use the screen sized to 130 degrees now its a super large 2d screen.

    i also just updated the greyscale adjustment to fit the rift better.

    you dont need the game to be a vr game to enjoy it in vr using the method i described.

  • i redid the video and instructions, see video details at youtube for newest grayscale text to copy and paste into negativescreen;

  • an unknown trick for more fun is that the screen locks in position much like a tv sitting on a tv stand.

    so you can walk towards the screen and look at the screen from different angles, which adds to the realism effect when you see a person on the tv screen and walk intot heir personal space and get right next to them up close, you can feel your right next to them.

    lecherousness ensues.
