I cant continue to play properly until leavers are sorted

I love this game but every single game, literally every single game, we either start with 2 players or we start with 3 and then after one has died they immediately leave leaving us 2 remaining. On the odd occasion both of my teammates will leave before I have chance to respawm them. Its starting to honestly ruin the game for me. I know that its not impossible to win with 2 players or even 1 but it certainly effects your likelyhood when you come across a full squad to win that encounter purely because you are outnumbered. I just think without any sort of punishment I cant take this game seriously, and since i cant take it seriously it seems a waste of time continuing to play when every game is the same.

About 3 weeks ago I replied to a post on here talking about this exact issue. Back then i brushed it off as a launch problem. "Players maybe dont understand the mechanic yet, give it time" I said. Here we are nearly a month later and the same issue is not only still present but by my history significantly worsened.

I think the time has come where this game requires not only a report system to report not only these players but cheaters etc. but also a suspension system wherein if you leave a game early you are given a leaver penalty of 'x' minutes before you can queue for another game. Without this I dont see the game getting any better for me. It just isnt fun to have your chances destroyed by a selfish player. If I were the devs I would act quickly. Ive seen Overwatch go down this hill and the devs to this day, nearly 3 years later, have not come up with an adequate system to punish players. If anyone else plays OW we all know the state of the game atm because things like this werent fixed when they became a problem but instead got worse over time.

This just points to the whole well i died lets get in another game quickly(which is completely normal for a BR game), also points to a real solo que game would be nice.
IF they punish for that, dieing and leaving then they(respawn) will have issues. Im not going to wait on people so i can play a game, ITS NOT HAPPENING!

I srsly would play blackops 4 over APEX if they punished players who enjoyed playing by themselves LOL. remember most BR games have a completely SOLO mode for a reason. APEX/respawn just havnt messed with the whole solo thing i really hopee they do, UNTIL THEN im going to leave games and get in another as soon as i possibly can.

Punishing players because they dont want to play with people they dont even know is pointless and absolutely absurd

Then this isnt the game for you is it 🤷‍♂️ And thats fine. But for people who want to play the game how it is designed to be played something neess to be done. If you want solo there are already other games out there to play. Apex is a squad BR game, there is no going solo.

i usually leave the game , when there is no team work or idiots players. and this game has alot idiots if not then they are cheaters .
whenever i see someone rushing soo fast to enemies and then got knockdown and they call for help . i dont help . because no team work no win .no cry .

Lets be honest, when PuGing no one intentionally leaves a good team or a winning game. People leave if/when they see there is no point in staying with this team, why bother waiting for respawn when team sucks. And if you are a bad player and expect people to be punished because they dont want to carry you. . .

From what I have seen people don't team quit in the middle of the game, its usually if you wipe right after the drop which is completely understandable. Jump master dropped into the same area with 5 other teams, id quit as well if someone dropped me in the area like that.

Point is, you dropped, you are in the game for 3 minutes, people died because team is bad, you reque and hope for a better PuG.

What i've seen so far is that players do not care about squad mates unless they are playing with friends.
The funny thing is that this type of players, who like to play mostly by themselves (solo i'd say) are the same who say that solo mode cannot be implemented because this is a br team game.

I have been dealing with leavers in more than 50% of my matches today. This game is becoming not fun.

Fix the mm and add separate queues for low and high levels and see how the leavers will reduce, it won't eliminate the problem ofcourse but it'll help

I leave every time I get downed now, no point playing this game with idiot teammates. Respawn should have foreseen these issues happening. I don't want to play with 2 idiots that are not on my skill level. Solos would do nothing to solve the issue with squads although I'm not against them adding solos, ranked gameplay, some incentives for winning and leaver penalty for ranked would solve this issue.
The flaw with this game is it forces teamplay on you yet offers nothing for competitive players, absolutely nothing. The only thing a competitive player would get from this game is a frustrating, toxic, unfun and unfair experience.

@RockScorpion384 if your only argument for no solos or "this is a team game" then sorry but its pretty invalid. i mean fortnite was originally a PVE...yet ive never known anyone who plays anything other than the pvp...pubg only had one mode when released on mobile. theres no meat to this argument. there needs to bo solos/duos/ranked...until then im leaving. if they implement a leaver penalty ill just start playing to troll and ruin the "squad" experience...throwing nades...firing in the sky...ping random stuff...letting my teammates get knocked then drop all my weapons and spin in cirlces...up to you bro

@RockScorpion384, wait first you say you can't continue to play properly, but then someone makes a valid point from their pov as a 'leaver' and you say 'then this isnt the game for you is it'? Weird don't you think. I really want to see what you have to say when/if there's gonna be a solo/duo mode regarding your 'Apex is a squad BR game, there is no going solo' XD.

@Spock1g is right on the money, if I get downed and see that my teammates are a bunch of worthless randoms I leave immediately. You can see that by what they do in the first few seconds after you touched down or marked that an enemy is nearby, by their banner or how they play. It's way faster just to get into a new match and hope for reliable/better teammates than to wait for the previous ppl who run away when you get downed for instance.

@Kreahke, I have seen alot of ppl leaving mid or even endgame. It's not even about worthless teammates, cause I've done that too actually. I die mid/endgame and know how my team plays, I leave. I've won more than enough of time since the conjuring of this game. I don't care about wins or exp so if I've witnessed my teammates sucking hard, I just leave. If I know they'll provide me with fun watching material I stay. The main reason people leave is due to incompetent teammates, they wanting to play again or they have no trust in their team.
