Idea: Flashbang

Preferred as a Grenade, but could be a new Legend's tactical.

The name says it all.

Also, my bro suggests an alternate effect, such as in settings, for epilepsy people and photosensitive people, so that they aren't triggered or hurt by flashes.

Like instead of a flash, it turns off their screen or something, so that it's not a flash blinding them but they effectively have similar effects upon them blinding their character but not hurting the player.

I hope you know what I mean by any of that.

Also, a deafening effect to those near the blast. A constant ringing and they cannot hear remarks, gunfire, or movements. It is a flash-bang after all.

Blind and deafen your foes (and yourself if you're too close or forgot to shut the door.)

Does NOT damage or destroy doors. It's a harmless grenade. It just somewhat disables opponents and gives you the upper hand.

Foes who get a multi collateral while blinded and deafened should be watched and monitored, as they are most likely hackers.

Bro had another rework:

  • Normal:
    • Bright flash
    • Loud Bang
    • Blinded (White Screen)
    • Deafened (Pitchy Monotone Whistle)
    • Turn away for half-blind, take cover for almost full resistance to blinding
    • Can't avoid deafening within the same room, even if you take cover
    • Exit room to be immune to blind
    • Close door to exited room to be immune to deafen, but resistant if there's an open or barred but open window to that room near you
    • Yes, deafening can go around corners, but blinding cannot.
    • The edges of the flash and the sounds of the bang go a lot farther than their actual effective radius.
    • If you've contained the flash bang in a different room, you will normally be immune to it. In rare circumstances you might only weaken its effects on you because an open window or doorway is near you.
    • Ending Effects: The blinding lasts 5-10 seconds, then clears over 3-7 seconds. The deafening lasts similarly.
  • Photosensitive/Epilepsy setting
    • Screen goes black instead of flashing white
    • The screen gradually returns instead of gradually clearing. If you know what I mean. Similar, but different, for player health safety.
    • Otherwise, relatively the same.
  • Might have another setting for people with sound issues, if such exists. I've never hear of it but I'd think it's possible that could happen.
