If i buy the normal battle pass now

I too am curious how this works before I purchase. 

From what im reading in this thread it’s buy either pass then *buy levels individually for 150 apex coin*

or

do not buy a battle pass until you hit lvl 75 catapulting you to lvl 100 and reaping all the rewards instantly. 

Or 

buy premium and start at level 25 

or

just buy the cheaper pass and play. 

What’s everyone’s plan?

Doesn't the premium pass jus5 give you 25 level boost. That's the only extra? So it's for people who don't want to play the game? I don't understand content now adays which you pay for so you don't have to play the game...

What am i missing?

some players are bad in this game. items that you get in season 1 are limited. ones the season is over you cant get season 1 items anymore.

Do you know what happens or why it wouldn't apply all the past rewards like it said? I've been trying to look it up. I've been playing quite a bit and decided to buy the battle passed today but it isn't showing the operators, weapons,  skins, charms, etc that should have been unlocked. Only emblems, calling cards, and cp. Thanks!
