You deserve a 5 minute abandon penalty. If you're against this, then you're one of those leavers we dislike.

@pandareno1999Thanks Pandareno, I usually even out towards the end of the season. Even though though stats aren't an exact representation, it shows I play 78% roughly if my math is correct.
That being said. I leave yes, 22% of the time. Knowing that, I'd support a small penalty to habitual leavers. It ruins the game for those who stay, instantly putting you at a disadvantage and more often than not, results in a loss.- @DankToliet Sometimes you just want to jet in pubs, it's a bad match/team/landing.
Now, to your point of habitual, yeah, then I could see it. Like, ok, you left the last 3 matches early in a row, if you leave this 4th one, take a 10 minute time out. That I could see. Every match you finish out resets that 3 count.
Might at least cut down on the Hot-drop Harrys in pubs. I

But I'm also not against a 5 minute penalty. I also feel differently, slightly, between Ranked matches and everything else. I even believe you should come and go as you like in Ranked matches, but it makes sense for a heavier penalty in those matches.
IF Apex were a better game, then I'd agree with the penalties more. But it's not, and Respawn won't fix it where it matters. So until they do, I can't really stand behind a heavy leaver penalty because, frankly, the game isn't good enough with its system to justify putting up with its frustrations when they happen.
- @KelRiever I halfway agree but I just can't leave like that unless the game is absolute 💩. I try to salvage every crappy game. So if that means leaving behind crappy/toxic teammates & playing solo & camping to top 3, so be it.
This new Ranked system rewards team play but doesn't really
encourage it if that makes sense.
As for pubs I've made the suggestion of none of your stats count if you leave early. No XP, kills, nada. No thanks. Fix hot-dropping and I wouldn't have to leave (as much).
- @DankToliet Okay, I am now triple-y down for this to be introduced. 8 games tonight I have managed to clutch/haven't-finished-a-fight and be left alive only for my team mates to have abandoned early.
And that's only when I started counting. - @DethMetalMilkMan All my leavers happen when I'm jumpmaster and if I don't drop hot they leave before we even hit the ground, sooooo many games doomed before it even began.
@DankToliet And this is why i only play a couple of pubs to warm up and then go straight to ranked. Pubs are trash and unplayable because of leavers.
- @Cro_Pittt it really amazes me the same people that don't want leaver penalty in pubs because they leave, are the same people that don't want solos because its a "team based game"...but you're leaving the team bro.
@DankToliet I've been asking for a leaver penalty in pubs for a long long time now, although it should not be as harsh as it is in ranked. But honestly it's either you survive the first fight (even when not hotdropping) or for sure you're playing with at least one less teammate. I don't know how someone can enjoy pubs in this state, unless of course, they leave as soon as they are knocked as well.
