I'm a quitter (and it's Respawns/EA's fault)
Seeing as you guys can care less about what we, the community, want. I have decided to become a quitter. Yes, that's right, the person that complained about people quitting is now doing it. Not goin...

leaver penalty will do absolutely nothing. 5 Minutes? I'll go walk my dog, go to the bathroom, make something to eat, get a drink, or play another game... There are countless things to do in 5 minutes.. And I hate to break it too you, if Apex was to "not give stats to leavers", well consider the 50 million players just a faint memory.. You think the culture that Respawn has created will put up with that? Not on your life.
Respawn focused on KILLS. So that's what the players adapted too. Lets look at 1 simple fact.. If you were in game, could you really how many wins you actually have? I'm not talking "Season 1 WIns" or even "Wins with full squad", I mean total number of wins with any given character? Nope, you can't. That's because Respawn wanted to focus their game for the hot droppers, the kill mongers.. Those with the ability to pull a trigger and kill 1, 2 maybe 3 people. Not the person out to win the game.
Battle royal (plural battles royal, also royale)
traditionally refers to a fight involving many combatants that is fought until only one fighter remains standing. ... Within combat sports and sports entertainment, the term has a specific meaning, depending on the sports being discussed.
Someone just forgot to tell the derps, I mean Dev's at Respawn to focus stats on "until only one fighter remains standing".. Instead the game is tailored to the 12 year old kid with moms credit card that can get a kill or two and then their dead.
So taking those precious KILL stats away and these guys would leave Apex in a heartbeat..
I tell you, Apex is in for a rough downward spiral...
Take my advice, just drop, and the moment you die, leave the game..

They definitely shouldn't give stats to quitters. when you quit on me. and I solo to top 3, you shouldn't get that stat. nor should you be ranked accordingly, if they ever add rankings.
Well just so you know, if you and I played. Got in a gunfight I got 2 kills and you got 1
I died 2 minutes and 30 seconds into the game
You go on to get top 3, 4 more kills and last 20 minutes..
If I quit, I would only get stats for my kills, damage done and lasting 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Since I quit out, I wouldn't get any stats that are related to anything after my quit.
The issue is that if I hot drop, get 2 kills, die then quit. I am still getting stats for those 2 kills.
I know how u feel but i don't support ur attitude. U are basically asking to win every match and want only good people in ur team to do. Carry ur game if u cant menage to do its then ur fault, don't blame ur teammates.
On the contrary.. I don't need a team to carry me... In fact, before I adopted this "Quitting" attitude, my biggest complaint was people not playing as a TEAM...
I have been in matches where my team would be knocked, I would squad wipe, then pick them up (or respawning them... Never touching their box)... Few minutes later, combat started, they got knocked, I squad wipe and pick them up... Few minutes later, I would be facing a full team (me being caught off guard) and killed.. My team fought the other team, looted my box and never went to respawn me...
So no, I don't need/want a team to carry me, but I WOULD have like 2 players playing as a team to TRY and win..
As far as my Attitude.. This is what Respawn and EA wanted. They don't want a "I want to win" attitude.. They want a "I have more kills then you" attitude... So I am evolving into the player they want to attract..

What we want as leave penalty is; If you leave before your banner time out you shouldn't get those 2 kills or exp for 2m30s survive time. So you are free to leave but you must give up your earnings. Simple and fair. It's not a 100% solution for leavers but atleast some ppl start to playing to win and reduces the number of players who jumps for getting 2-3 kill in first 3 min and leave when they down.
LOL Yes, having a full squad surprise me and then my team looting my box and not respawning me was completely my fault..
