Edited op with this update:
Found a way to get steel series sonar sound from xbox or even Ps 4/5.
Xbox hdmi goes to TV, (xbox 1s has no jack audio output) . TV has audio jack output. So using audio jack from TV audio output to laptop, and laptop to sound system works. TV is set to both jack and optical sound output.
But I have optical audio output from TV to sound system, no audio jack input on sound system. So I use a stereo system for audio output from laptop.
There may be a slight delay/echo running both the sound system and the stereo at the same time. So I'll experiment to see if there is an improvement running seperatly or togeather, if any.

@Lord_Scorpion34 had a thought 😃
Ps/xbox to hdmi splitter,
Hdmi to normal output,
And a hdmi to audio jack adaptor to laptop/pc
To sound output headphones/speakers
Might work

@Lord_Scorpion34 There may also be optical sound output options from ps/xbox to laptop/pc but i don't know much about that yet
