Inconsistent moderation: Loba’s outfit is fine, but [] isn’t?

I tried entering the numbers “369” (not even sexual) as my clan tag, but it said this isn’t allowed. This makes no sense — the game allows highly suggestive character designs like Loba’s (especially when combined with specific emotes), yet blocks a harmless number combination. You’re allowing visual sexualisation while censoring mild or implied references. It feels inconsistent and unfair.

You’d either need to ban all forms of potential sexual references — including suggestive skins — so the logic behind blocking [] makes sense, or simply allow any harmless number combination in clan tags. Basically, either allow mild sexualisation across the board or remove it entirely. It shouldn’t be one rule for visuals and another for text.

Please review this policy — it really doesn’t line up with the logic or fairness players expect, it's a simple fix.

Certain words and combinations are not allowed in game for a number of reasons but they would not be something that we can discuss.

  • Just to add — no number combination should be banned, especially when the game already includes mild sexualisation through things like Loba’s skin alone. Blocking something as harmless as “369” or “69” feels inconsistent.

I get having filters for actual offensive stuff, but the system should be smart enough to tell the difference between a simple number and a genuinely offensive term. People who want to get around filters use things like “**bleep**” or “F4G,” and that’s what should really be flagged. With how advanced moderation tools are now, it shouldn’t be hard to tell the difference.

  • The people who make these decisions have a set policy and don't really care what you think. They are a business first. You are 1000% correct in your point I don't disagree with you but and to be fair to them.. they can control what they put out (the loba you linked for example) they have to put some kind of safeguards against general types of provocative or any type of harmful thing/name.

Well the people making these policies that Apex devs follow, need to seriously rethink them. They let kids drool over Loba’s skin — which is way more likely to make them curious enough to Google “Loba naked” — but a harmless number like “69” is suddenly a problem?

Most kids either don’t even know what it means, and the ones who do will just laugh and move on. Compare that to what actually happens with Loba — a kid sees the suggestive skin, gets hormones firing, and is far more likely to go look up stuff online.

The logic behind this policy is backwards and inconsistent.

I think you should think about what you post as people that read what you post my actually do something you have suggested and not be happy with what they find on the net. There are also many types of number combos that are very explicit and relate to very harmful and hateful content when used in different contexts.
