Need input based matchmaking asap as well as coding to detect xim user... Tired of playing against kb+m cheats all night long

I agree, seperate the xim users and keep it a level playing field. EA would win back so much lost respect from the playerbase if the did this. Just look what happened last october regarding fortnite and xim not working, the playerbase loved it......until the xim developer found a workaround and epic didnt bother anymore. Definitely would be a chance for apex to stand out from pubg and fortnite where they failed. Plus lets be honest the only ones complaining and stating xim isnt cheating are the xim users. And yes xim is detectable, at least on xbox.

Not too hard to tell who plays what if you spectate...4 head shots with a scout from 200m while your running is most likely a mouse...sub 100 gamerscore is a good indicator as well...youve have absolutely no Xbox play history yet you nailed me with 10 straight shots while sliding sideways? Do any third party companies that make steering wheel controllers get banned for making a better input device for driving games? Again guess what, NOPE! The Xim movements are sent thru and translated thru the controller. Meaning simply the keyboard and mouse movements go thru the Xim then thru the controller so to make sure those movements can’t exceed anything that a controller can’t do. Sure, it can do it a hell of a lot better. But, sorry if you choose to use a device that is less capable of doing a job then another. I’ll use a steering wheel when playing Forza and I don’t get separated into any “Steering Wheel” only servers. And to be honest I’ve never heard any controller players on Forza whining about steering wheel users like FPS players do. So I’m personally not asking any Xim user to apologize for playing a game how they choose!And as far as EA winning back respect or player base if they did what you ask. I think if EA just enables native Keyboard and Mouse input for the game, which both Xbox and PS4 are capable of. They would win ten times the number of players that would come over from PC because they are tired of all the hacks and cheats that PC players have to deal with. And I do believe this will happen soon. Times change, input devices change. Adapt, overcome, improvise.

Didnt realise we where talking about forza.....oh hang on we are not. Now if you said playing an fps in vr counted as cheating, well thats up to the developers but tbh i would get behind that, sounds awsome. But comparing a mouse and keyboard "adapter" (and lets be clear we are talking about "adapters" not mouse and keyboard), to a steering wheel in another game is just not the same, yes its another input device but it doesnt give a significant advantage. Where as an adapter to use mouse and keyboard does. Mouse and keyboard should be alowed and in thier seperate severs in my opinion regardless of platform but thats not the major issue. Its the xim users that still choose to use the adapter to bypass seperation to get into controller lobbies to gain that advantage, and thats why it lays in the realm of cheating. And back to the steering wheel, im pritty sure you can take that and use it at a tournament but xim can not as one unfortunate rainbow six player discovered.

Nooo its cheating lol hence why cheaters use the xim on destiny 2 pc to gain aim assist with m&k. Best just move straight to the physical/learning disability claim🤣. Fyi xbox has a disability controller for you guys if you need it 👍

Your a 1000 percent wrong there is way more people using keyboards than you think and the advantage you gain in apex. Is on matched thus is why respawn bans because of it they also aknowldged that this is one of there biggest issue when comes to cheating since they dont got input based matchmaking

This ❤️❤️❤️❤️ idiot that isn't even compareable you get no advantage from a stirring wheel...when aiming with your hand versus a thumb that's why theres aim assists on console stfu with your corner ❤️❤️❤️❤️ comment you gain a lot on mouse not even counting aim you can move around while looting death box you jump kick off walls theres a lot

Umm dummy thats cause the movements aren't the same there just not aim is way better easier on pc by far I know I play both so don't try say different you can't move looting death box can't jump kick off walls and last your aim on moving targets its by far an advantage

@LtHitlisIt is this attitude that will ruin console. Want M&K? Play PC. People who use M&K are trying to gain an advantage. As for the people who deny the hack issue on PS4 and XBox, they are probably ones who use it. Common answer, “I never see it”.....Maybe your in lobbies that are too low. The higher up you get the more you see it. Lots of Preds use M&K, hell I’ve even had Pred randoms tell me so and advise what I should buy. Most common I see rapid fire and anti recoil.....Spectate, you can tell when they have slight screen jitter as the setting is too high.
This is an issue for all FPS games, not just Apex. I do have faith that EA / Respawn will do something. What will be unforgivable is if this exists on PS5!

@SquishyVader Have you see the internal components of the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X, PS5? They are PC’s! These are not the consoles of years ago. These are PC’s with less an option to get into the OS and manipulate files for hacks and cheats. I did the PC gaming for years and will NEVER return to that money pit of having to upgrade motherboards, video cards, processor, memory, sound cards ever couple of year’s to try and stay at a competitive level of frames per seconds (FPS). Not to mention dying to wall hacks, aim bots, god mode, no recoil hacks, radar hacks, and many other hacks available to be hack on a PC OS. So know this. I WILL ALWAYS use a keyboard and mouse on console, which is allowed and NOT a violation of Microsoft’s (Xbox) or Sony’s (PlayStation) TOS (terms of service). So it’s simple, choose what ever controller you want or are better with and I’ll choose mine. I’ve been using a Xim for over 10 years since the original Xim came out for the first Xbox. And it seems Xbox and PlayStations have maintained there need and player base. Choose how you want to play and I’ll choose how I want to play. Enjoy my friend.

The only thing they can and should do is allows native m&k then make separate lobbies. Sure people could still use Emulator and play in controller lobbies. But you'd want to play in native lobbies because you're getting that 1:1 m&k experience. Currently using a emulator on console there's input lag between the devices and users are not getting the same experience as they would on PC.
So if they able native m&k with separate lobbies you'd plug directly into your console instead of an Emulator and get a better experience.

@DankToliet Game manufacturers will never purposely split the player base of any game. When they do that game queue increases, which leads to the sooner death of a game. Guys it’s pretty simple. If you enjoy playing with a controller more then play with a controller. If you enjoy k/m then play with a k/m. If you think your better with one then the other then choose the other. But, don’t blame people because they choose different then you.
