In Season-5, they will introduce "RECONNECT" so you can back to game as long session is not finish yet:"As we work on stability and systems like Loss Forgiveness that help make it more forgiving to play ranked and really focus on your climb, we wanted to offer even more ways to recover from crashes or internet outages. We’re happy to announce that reconnect is coming in Season 5. If you get disconnected due to internet weather, a quick brownout, or a crash in the game - you can now just restart and if the session is still ongoing you will reload right back into the session. We hope this helps get you back in the game quickly and easily to keep earning that RP. Expect more details in the final patch notes."This help when TSM_Alberanie got freeze during last competition, now he can go back in.

Dev knows this's huge potential to open a can of worm, since player will find a way to find a loop hole and cheat the system.Simple scenario:1. Hot drop, hopefull get good kill/assist but think went south and got knock down/death, but team mate survive and hide like a rat, and can't pick the banner.2. Disconnect the network/restart apps/....etc3. Team mate still a rat, hiding and trying to survive to top 10 or top 5.4. When situation is safe, reconnect back and get respawn and loot so many items in death box (ussually fully stack by this time)5. Push your luck for top 3 or even steal a win.

@asukojo I have a feeling they'll make it so that when you disconnect, you'll drop your box as usual, but your teammates will have the chance to pick up a "special" banner that they can use to Respawn the player once they reconnect. At least, hopefully that's what they'll do, instead of just dropping you straight back in.

I think it will coincide with loss forgiveness, if you're constantly reconnecting it's gonna look fishy.Perhaps you reconnect with none of the previously earned points?

@asukojo This is really good. I rarely disconnect but when I do I'd love the chance to get back in.

Wonder how they'll handle the loot if the reconnect system is added since we drop our stuff after a DC

When game crash, I think it will be death box, pick banner and once the player rejoin, you will able to respawn them.
They should limit this to game crash, NOT network disconnect or shut application down.
The dev should able to see the error log is software error then allow to go back in.
Otherwise people will simply unplug cable/wifi, or restart the apps.

@asukojo Assuming they implement it with the method you mentioned, I'd say any case where they are forced to leave the game should warrant the ability to reconnect, except if the player leaves the game in the conventional manner. I see no benefit or exploit to the reconnect by purposely causing a disconnect.

If u knockdown and team mate can't pick banner, people can cheat "disconnect" then reconnect back to get respawn later in the game.
One simple strategy, each member split to 3 different places, when 2 of the die, they "disconnect" then reconnect back close to top 10/5 or close where they're so many loot boxes left behind.

This is a really basic feature that should've been introduced a long time ago, especially since this game is so unstable.
Two basic pointers that'll prevent any misconduct:
- While disconnected, your champion is standing still at the point you were while you disconnected. You take damage and everything, just as if you were in the game.
- Reconnect timer that ticks from about 1 minute, then you'll be kicked from the match
This is not a new idea. This is already up and running in many different games.
