Think this should start being implemented.I'd rather play with people who do the right thing than merely someone who is good with a controller.Storm off 1 v 3 with white shield whilst your teammates are no health and need recover.Can't be dealing with this disinfectant injecting lunatic asylum every match.

@1ronKeys Intelligence doesn't necessarily equate to success in gaming either though lol.Confidence focus and instinct are huge factors, as well as controller skill as you mentioned.Some players you get might just be having a bad game due to tiredness or whatever. For example some days i'll cut a bloody path through the entire lobby and it just feels like everything's clicking into place.Then there are other times where i'll just be a walking catastrophe, lose every 1v1 and get my sorry butt picked up off the ground repeatedly lol. (Although this is usually when i've just played too much and i'm burnt out....it's good to take breaks from a game for a few days sometimes!)

@1ronKeys As much as I would love this as it would lead to more wins for me. I don’t think it would be good for player retention. The game is very difficult for new players. If they don’t occasionally get matched with people who can carry them, they won’t have a chance to see the fun/potential the game has. It’s also a good way for them to meet people who can teach them the game.We already have SBMM which matches people based on general skill. This is done to keep the top 15% or so of players from just slaughtering the bottom 15%. If it’s pushed to far you’ll have only the top players paired with top players. Leading to a bad experience for others.It’s also important to keep in mind we all have bad rounds. I typically post 700-1300 damage a round. But lately I’ve been in a bit of a rut. It’s not that I’m a bad player. I’ve just been doing dumb things.

There's also the factor of just having a good rhythm with someone. Sometimes you'll have buddies that just think alike, and you easily and instinctively work together very well. Even without god-tier aim, you move well enough together to rack up the kills, and can cover each other well during pressure situations. And sometimes you don't. Sometimes a teammate is perfectly fine, but you just don't dance well together. Neither of you are bad, or making egregious combat decisions, but you're just not on the same wavelength.

It would take forever for me to matchmake...Not many other 7 billion IQ individuals playing Apex

@1ronKeys Idk I quite enjoy watching people with diamond/pred trails leave their interior team behind and go off to solo the entire lobby only to get dropped faster than they leave afterwards lol

Do an IQ test online, submit results to EA, be grouped by IQ in parameter divisions of 10 IQ. Even tho that wouldn’t say too much unfortunately...

A 90 IQ individual can be good at comprehensive thinking but lacking in other stuff whereas a 130 might do everything right but doesn’t read situations the way you would’ve liked

@1ronKeys Good point. But I would be so broken that they would have to put me with 2 IQ teammates vs like regular 200 and 300 IQ people

But that's okay because IQ doesn't necessarily = controller skill.

@DarthValtrex But intelligence and skill is different.

They could still be matched with someone who's really good at shooting and aiming.

Id honestly rather be matched with people who make the right decisions.

I feel it would be fairly balanced... someone who's really good will still do really good, and someone who's not may not.

But I'd rather who lost doing the right thing than won by doing the wrong thing. 'Cause i believe overrall doing the right thing will have a better percentage than the former.
