Im trading my PS4 in for a ps5 and while I heard all but 10 ps4 games work on the ps5, im interested to know if the Apex developers will be releasing a hd version for the ps5, or do we just have to use the ps4 version ? And maybe is there going to be any graphical enhancements for any version on ps5 ? I dont play Fortnite but seen somewhere that are making the graphics heaps better for the ps5 and xbox and would be nice if EA gave Respawn some help to work on a ps5 version.Do we know anything yet as the ps5 is less then 1 month away now ?

Why dont the devs or mods just come out and let us know on here ? It shoukdnt be a secret as lot of people would want to know this.

I don't have anything specific about Apex, but the following line on a PS5 article suggests you can use the new pad or your old DS4. "Compatible controllers on PS5 consoles The DualSense™ wireless controller, DUALSHOCK™4 wireless controller and PlayStation officially licensed third-party gamepad controllers will work on PS5 consoles with supported PS4 games. I think its gonna operate as a backwards compat tbh.

@johnmiceter It will be upgraded for PS5, the shadows and frames will be way better and it won't take a lot of work either.

Yep, you'll be able to continue to play Apex on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 as noted.

We don't have any info on changes/enhancements at this time, but we'll of course let folks know when we do have anything.

@EA_David Its obviously gonna be upgraded for next gen its just a matter of when, I'm hopeful you guys will surprise us with it on release of next gen.

Also if it isn't ready does that mean you need to use last gen controllers or will new ones work?

@johnmiceter It is ridiculous they havent said what the plan is. Fortnite was featured in the last PS5 propaganda video.
