@Asmodeus566 "or use exploits, bugs or problems in an EA Service to gain unfair advantage."

I knew I was right in reporting every PC in console Mixtape.

    This is the way.

Good for you, if it is a console only lobby (no cross-play) then there should not be a single PC player in it.

@Asmodeus566 its one thing to have rules , a completely other thing to enforce them.
I have a prime example of this in my hometown :
Its prohibited by traffic regulations to park your car facing against the traffic direction.
Local authorities dont enforce that rule bcs they fear potential customers would not frequent our city anymore , rendering that statewide rule useless.

Same with EA/Respawn : If they dont enforce penalties for macro usage on a broad scale, people will just use it, bcs they think anybody does and they dont have to fear a penalty anyway.

I dont know the reasons why EA/Respawn doesnt use the latest iterations of EAC which can dectect at least some forms of macro usage, but it might be the same reasons why my local authorities dont enforce those parking rules ... they fear those people will spend their money elsewhere if enforced ...

    Seriously?

We all know that aim assist is a contentious topic however that is not I repeat not against the rules and is provided via the game.

Macro's are cheating and that is a different thing.

    Apples and oranges.

Thanks for clarifying that for me.

Aim assist is not really the problem though with mixed lobbies.

In fact on paper having mixed lobbies (Cross-Play) is a benefit for the gamers, the game and for the company.

The problem lies within the the capabilities of the different platforms abuse of hardware and software, the combination of those in mixed lobbies as well as the difficulty in detecting those things.

Until EA/Respawn can get the upper hand in the cat and mouse game they have to play with cheaters we will have to deal with it and help EA out by reporting when we really see and or really suspect cheating.
