Is Controller Aim Assist Identical on PC and Consoles?

Title says it all.

I generally play on PS4, but occasionally hop onto PC with people I know.  I'd love to know if the game controls identically on Console and PC with a controller.  I can't seem to tell, and can't find an answer from the developers.  If the aim assist is less on PC, then I'll have to use my KB+M, but since I play on a TV, controller is easier and I'm used to it.  I am well aware that Aim Assist is there on PC, I want to know if its strength is the same as on consoles.

I will come and * in your yard if you respond with any "KB+M is better" question.  I am aware it generally is, and have no problem using my setup, but controller is easier to manage on a TV than my wireless board and mouse and I do just fine (500-700 Damage per Match) on PC with the controller.
