Is Ping actually factored into the matchmaking system?

So yeah as above in the title. Getting a little fed up of being shot through cover lol. I've developed a weird tick where I count to 5 everytime i step into cover during a gunfight...and i had one ...

@MandatoryIDtag Yes please . Or just stop allowing people to play on servers miles away from them ? Never really understood that atall and surely that just makes it worse for everyone . I’m sick of having random people literally teleporting about cause of how bad they’re lagging and yeah getting shot behind cover is getting old too lol

Not every country has servers installed, so idk what you are trying to say.

    @MassiveVernon Yeah, I would play on the closest one but Bahrain servers are dead(like really dead). I play on the second closest(ping increase 15-20 ms). I get around 110-120ms.
    
    The 'shoot enemies behind cover' starts at 180+ ms btw.

@MassiveVernon Never gonna happen. I've seen games try to limit what servers people could connect to and the rage feedback was through the roof.

Oh and I'm someone that plays across an ocean a lot due to someone I enjoy playing with living there. Trust me when I say it hurts me way more than it hurts anyone else.
