Is Ping actually factored into the matchmaking system?

So yeah as above in the title. Getting a little fed up of being shot through cover lol. I've developed a weird tick where I count to 5 everytime i step into cover during a gunfight...and i had one ...

@DoYaSeeMe Doesn't CoD use a ping derived MM system? I've watched the matchmaking there and it starts at 13m/s and expands the longer the lobby population takes. You're far more educated than myself on these matters but yeah. 😛

@MassiveVernon In some cases it can't be helped, Africa example doesn't even have a data centre as far as i'm aware.

Its an infrastructure issue, there is plans to build a number of data centres in areas of the world sorely lacking but most of the completion dates are between 2022-2025 lol. ☹️

@MandatoryIDtag Fair play, that sucks . Well then - brand new refreshing idea that’s never been suggested and EA will definitely implement- they could always just spend some of the millions they’ve earned from this game on upgrading the existing infrastructure to make it more playable for everyone everywhere ! Or just idk make a new heirloom event instead .
