Is playing passive a banable offense like being friendly to other players?

so I was watching some streamers play and they where being friendly with the enemy team but not helping them in any way is that allowed? and could I play a game where I'm friendly with anyone I come across?

@drunkcat12345 being friendly is not a bannable offense, eventually you'll come back around to kill them later should you leave the interaction on friendly terms, or they'll kill you.
Teaming up IS a bannable offense, where if you cooperate with an enemy team to kill other enemy teams, that's bannable.
You could technically try to be friendly with other teams, but you'll most likely get killed. I'd say, skip the pleasantries, and open up with a warm lead handshake.

@drunkcat12345 Cross-teaming is when you are actively working with another squad in order to get easy wins and kills. It ends up being a 6 man team all fighting together and working as a unit. That, that is bannable. But just not fighting, that is not bannable. I don't remember if I clipped it or not, but I might be able to link you to a video I made of a fully pacifist ending between 3 teams.
