Account Compromised, Banned, and Unable to Submit Appeal
Hi, I’m looking for help regarding my Apex Legends account.
My account was recently compromised without my knowledge. After regaining access, I discovered that my account had been banned. I did not violate any rules myself, and I believe the ban was a result of actions taken while my account was hacked.
The main issue I’m facing now is that I cannot submit an appeal. It appears that an appeal may have already been submitted while my account was compromised, and the system is not allowing me to create a new case or contact an advisor.
Because of this, I currently have no way to properly explain my situation or provide proof that my account was accessed by someone else.
I would really appreciate it if someone could:
- Review my account activity during the time it was compromised
- Allow me to submit a new appeal or reopen the existing case
- Advise me on how to proceed since I am locked out of the appeal system
- I am willing to provide any additional information needed to verify my account and secure it further.
- Thank you for your time and your advisors for helping-me recover my account.

Apologies, I missed this notification. If there's no way to send in an appeal through the Penalty History or the web form, please get in touch with our support team and let them know what's happening. They may be able to assist you with an appeal from there.
To reach them, follow these steps:
- Open this guide, scroll to the bottom, and click on 'Contact Us'
- The EA NextSteps chatbot will ask a few questions. I would recommend treating this as a hacked account only for now, and use only a few words when responding to the bot's questions. You can clarify the issues by sending in a ban appeal once connected with the support team.
- Once you finish with the chatbot, this page should load. Under 'Contact an advisor', select the option to 'Chat with us'.
