Is smurfing bannable?
I am interested if smurfing is bannable since in other games like Lol it is. I was thinking about helping a friend by making a smurf so i can play with him in ranked since my accout is a much higer r...

Couldn't find any new posts about this so bumping this up as Season 9 (Legacy) has added a new report button in the game;
Would like official confirmation now that this has been added to the game. Does any bans for smurfing also now ban your main account? Does this just mean your smurfs get banned? What is the official stance on smurfing now that there is an actual in-game report button for smurfing

That is a good point. In general, I would say that a level 20, with a lot of kills, who has excellent movements, seems to know very much how to rotate, position, has very good game sense, and is very familiar with loot and the guns can very likely be a smurf. Not a guarantee, but a very high probability IMO.
It is definitely easier to tall if such player ends up on your team IMO.I suspect more of this goes on that we are officially aware of. Cheating too.
Some of the games I've had there is no explanation to what I witnessed.
Example: I was on Kings Canyon on the roof of Market. Gunfire below. I staked out the stairs coming up. A caustic is crouched creeping up the stairs back to me as I'm looking from above/behind. Aim down sights, take my time (Hemlock) and let him have it. Had him totally dead to rights. Didn't drop a shot. After my 2nd burst he had spun around and dropped me instantly.

lvl 14. 4K dmg badge, 20 kill badge...or just very good in the game on bronze level. Yes...it could be that some very good FPS player just started to play with the game and dominates the lobby in 2 days on level 14....but 98% is not that case 🙂 They just will have fun over kill low level players...and laugh on it...and show the 20kill badge. Because it is a free to play game, you may have tons of accounts. Only developers could tell, that if somebody with the same IP address is playing with many other accounts (never in the same time...rather than always switching).
Because the ranked system (split, and you may not go down below your highest level...like gold), many high level players could land in bronze. But this is normal. If this is they main account. They will go up fast...till then, will ruin every low level players game...therefore is the split logic in my opinion bad. They should stay on high level. Then, if you find a very good player with lvl 14 on bronze...it is definitely a smurf. Who ruins everybody's game.

Also I played a lot of Titanfall 2 and it's not much there that is transferable without a lot of practice outside of playing a shadow at halloween event 😉
On top of that if you report them they can check how many accounts there are on that hwid, then they can try evaluate if it's the same user or different users playing. They have a lot of tool at respawns side, and being a vivid fps player myself I remember starting apex, it's s steep hill. You will see a typical skilled fps player have excellent aiming mechanics but lacking in the other Ares, but when you check all the boxes chance is extremely high that is a smurf
Bro i just ran into a smurf with a 20 kill badge and 4k at account level 5 like this game is just getting worse and worse in my opinion. I understand where you come from with how to apot and telll if its an actual smurf or just a skilled player but this is horrible
