Is there a way to fight friends in the new Firing Range?

Me and a friend learned we can queue into Firing range together but is there a way for us to fight? What is the point of having armor and such if there isn't a way to do it?

This's what I requested before:

1. Invite friends then we battle out in firing range,

2. If we knockdown, we have self revive or if we die, got auto respawn.

3. We have stats who kill or damage the most.

4. What happen in firing range, stay in firing range (kill/damage/other stats doesn't count to your character).

"Join my firing range for a few friendly headshots". For the record, I'd like this, too 🙂.
I'd make it become available through an "allow friendly fire" toggle that each player can turn on/off and which resets to off at respawning or switching the legend. Those with friendly fire on can hurt each other, but are immune and can't do damage to those with the toggle set to off. Also, weapons and loot could be moved to the entrance hallways ( something tells me that was the initial reason for having 5 of them in the training grounds - light / heavy / energy / shotgun / care package weapons). Players could spawn or get dropped right where the weapons are now. A small building with 2 levels and a few doors should be added as well, and all destroyed doors would get repaired when there are less than 2 players with friendly fire turned on .

  @walkersmay74 yes, just turn on friendly fire once you are all in firing range.
  
  This was added a while back.
