Item pick up delay

Hi @Raizurhk, sorry to hear you're having difficulties picking up items. Are you playing on PC or console? If you're on PC what are your specs?

It’s on console the biggest issue is unless your looking directly at the item it won’t let you pick it up and even then it seems to be a big delay.

Ah, I play on PC. I have noticed that I seem to ned to be a little bit closer to the loot. Maybe something was tweaked in the recent patch.

Are you tapping the button to loot or holding it down? Just a wild guess but perhaps that could be it. 🤔

Gets a bit annoying dropping in and it take 10 or so seconds for the game to allow me to pick anything up.

I also play on PC so it's hard to assist here, personally I've never had an issue with it except occasionally when the servers just have a little lag in general but typically goes away after the first minute or so after the drop.

As for the other things that are wrong with the game mind specifying? They've made a post 2 days ago? I think, it was either yesterday or the day before addressing multiple concerns and their plans for a few things.

It sounds like you may be having issues with your connection @Raizurhk. I would suggest taking a look at our Connection troubleshooting steps which you can find here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/

It'll take you a couple of minutes to do them all but please do take the time and do them all.

I get this from time to time as well. It's just server lag.

It only seems to happen early game and if the area is busy. In my experience, it only happens on the odd occasion out of many.

The game is delayed. Everything in the game is delayed to the point where what you see is half a second to 1 second behind what is going on 

I consistently have issues with this even in 2021.  Playing on console and nothing but issues.
