Jumpmastering is dead and should be changed/deleted
Jumpmastering is a relict from the past - it's the only aspect of the game unchanged from the time this game was released four years ago. It simply doesn't work. And after four years people still don't know how to do it. People are either relinquishing or throwing "jumpmaster" like a hot potato from one player to the another through the entire map and this happens in 90% of games in pubs. Stacks? You don't need it anyway, you all know what you want to do, and you have some level of understanding of each other and mutual communication.
Nobody pings the location of the jump. Are they AFK? Do they want to jump somewhere further? You simply don't know what your teammate will do. Most probably nothing. They fly through the most/entire map in the dropship and at the last moment they relinquish/quit/jump alone.
Respawn often talks about "survivability" - how does this survivability works when you follow blindly someone who doesn't have the slightest idea of what they are doing? I am quite sure that jumping separately and even landing somewhere in a more scattered pattern would put a stop to that fast elimination of teams I see every game - 30 seconds pass and more than 6 teams are gone. It's crazy. Bad jumpmastering, (too) late jumpmastering, no spreading, relinquishing is the most common cause of wiping fast your squad.
Jumpmastereing should for example force pinging location/jumping after 3 seconds in the dropship or otherwise, the jumpmaster position goes to the next player automatically. Or better: simply delete jumpmastering completely.
I don't understand why this is still in the game. Somehow in other Battle Royales everybody can jump separately and somehow still land in the same region.
