K/D based MM please
K/D is a value that does not lie about the abilities of a player. Playing constantly good will raise K/D and the other way round. Best thing is, you can't manipulate K/D since playing "worse" is al...
It's an amateur mistake to think that K/D tells the whole story. Some of us have already proven ourselves in other games and are kind of over nurturing our stats. My case is quite unique in that my account was breached while I was on a break and the person that played my account grinded thousands of inactive games.
But before then, and even now I play almost exclusively solo autofill where I will usually play on regardless of the bad hand I'm dealt. Leavers, terrible team landings, one man armies that quit the second they get knocked. And I will probably quit if I'm solo before leaving the ship, which frequently counts as an additional 0/1 to my KD. I wouldn't quit on teammates, but other than that I will always put enjoyment ahead of stats.
Well u cant manipulate K/D since you get into higher lobbys if you do so....
Then u die and K/D is corrected....
Easy and 100% save system
SBMM has been manipulated so often it doesnt work any longer...
So ge tbac to 1 basic value and good
As a casual beginner, I find it relative easy strategy to avoid engagement and start fighting on later stage. Usually finish high on placement because a lot of players seems to wiped out within first minutes. I thought being a champion is what's goal of the game.
@E9ine_AC I'm sure this isn't what you are talking about but to the worshipers of K/D, I can easily say that when I play trios my K/D goes up and, for all the obvious reasons my K/D goes down when I play ranked, particularly as I get up to the rank of my skill level.
K/D is fine to track, but it's awful as a primary register of how you are in any BR game. K/D isn't even a good single register for any shooter, but much better for things like Halo still, than any BR.
These sorts of arguments I mostly hear from people who haven't really considered all the things it takes to be better at Apex. I personally think any kind of SBMM is going to be flawed because it's near impossible to come up with an algorithm that accurately registers skill with everything to consider. But reducing it to K/D? That would make it far worse.
@J0604211259 No.

@cooperal1012If you leave while in the ship I dont think it is a death. Just like the people that get downed and leave.
And that is what I said?

D for deaths.
