Kill cap on ranked is way too low

Yeah a lot of people (including me) have been asking this for ages. During a game you kill multiple teams that just come in 3rd partying you, manage to get more than 5 points but then you die later in the game. If you're in higher tiers that won't even be enough to not lose points. I think a maximum of points should be there because otherwise the endgame would be probably dead, but raising it to 10 maybe would be enough to make it more balanced.
