Kill Points uncapped in BR Ranked?

@Cheese9Man I just want to add maybe offtopic here - I tried to understand how this works yet official info was very confusing and even more so I found topics in forums and even there EA people did not clarify anything regarding new BR system.
Sadly I pretty much never get 7+ KP per game so haven't had a chance to check this, but one thing I noticed that progress this season/split is much slower for me than last season - previously went from bronze to plat almost as fast as now I went from P4 to P3...
From this experience, I would agree with the mentioned point (in other forum posts) that this system favors more engagement and more skilled players.
Now if this is uncapped it makes the situation even worse - BR becomes more like free for all = winner is the one who reaches X kills first ☹️

@EREGDS Agreed that I think it favors the more run and gun method of gaining RP. I thought Respawn's stance over not adding solos back in the game was that this is a team game but this rank change says otherwise. I still think that it should go with a team based RP but I can see people not wanting to share that sweet KP with toxic random teammates.
@hayhor You probably explained it the best for me. You can gain max RP even at 7th place hence people are purposely killing themselves already once they reach that.
