So, there's a lag hack now in full swing. Several games I tried recently, this is the case. If you see an enemy and face off with them, the internet slows, they glitch out, you're dead. Every time. So, yet another hack. It's no coincidence as this happens only when facing an enemy, winds up with me always dead. You can't hit them because they glitch across the screen. So, yeah game's as terrible as ever.
See those lag cheaters in BF4 and other FPS games.
It's a old cheat that been re made.

Remember it's golden age for cheaters. If they ban all of the cheaters in Apex it wouldn't be many left so...
It's easy to make a better anti cheat, but they wont cause they will loose alot of players.
My brother did make a anti cheat that is like a AI. It looks after abnormality: like if you shoot faster than usual, running faster or something that isn't normal.
It took over 10 000 bots with today cheat, (from reddit that ain't discover yet.). in 1 hour.
Many have contacted EA about that, but they will not listen or respawn on it.
So... I don't know the plan of EA.
I think the pert he has failed to explain is that its not the server, its just one specific person. I encounter it often.
One person will be blinking around the field, roughly 1-3 meters leaps and won't have any issues hitting you.
If you then watch them play they will have no issues, as they teleport around, playing normally while being almost impossible to hit.
If this isn't a hack then the net code is real *, If they were just laggy i wouldn't be quick to assume its a hack, but they do not suffer only benefit.

This is the enemy hops around like he's lagging but doesn't suffer any issues with game play.
Just him.
No one your team is lagging, no one on his team just him.
