Laziness or Incompetency?
So they're bringing back Skull Town as an Arena map. But they can only keep it during the event cause apparently "BR Arena maps actually load the full BR map " So...they can't be bothered to actual...

@MassiveVernon I’m with vernon on this xD. By this point I know they’re quite laissez vaire about Apex so I hardly care about anything they do if it looks like incompetence or laziness. That said, throw OG KC and I’m like those whales whom like every cosmetic and forgive everything with a new batch xD.
That said, I don’t believe for a minute they can’t make the assets from existing maps separate into Arenas without loading the whole of those BR maps. So likely laziness.
That said, where did you get this quote from. Even without knowing that tho it says something about the other arena maps... most likely they are also part of other BR maps! Especially if ppl get weird fps. That would explain why those 2 maps give/gave ppl trouble...
