Laziness or Incompetency?

@Daze623 Do you really think that they currently just don't put in any effort? They know Skulltown is asked for, this is them giving it to you. What right do you have to demand more? Also, don't put free in quotes like that. It literally is free, there's nothing making you spend money on the game. Literally everything that you like about the game is a gift, including Skulltown. And of course they're out to make a profit, so if what you're suggesting was profitable, they would do it.

In other words, they probably don't have the money or resources to do it. It's not about laziness or incompetence, and you honestly sound super entitled and rude. Do you know how much people get paid to work on this game? I don't either, but clearly they don't get paid enough to do what you want them to. I guess you have the right to complain about whatever you feel like, but if you want * done for you, then you should be ready to pay for it yourself.

Bruh, they aren't supposed to be a non-profit. They do work, and they deserve to get paid. If the work they do earns a lot of money, then that's their money. They don't have to spend their money to give something to you, and they don't have to do extra work because you want them to. If that upsets you, then don't support them by consuming what they give you. If you want something, you can ask for it, do the work yourself, or pay directly them to do the work for you. It's a free game. You're getting your money's worth.

Complaining is really lame.

Seriously, like I understand that there's things that you want for the game, but why get pissed and start acting like a *? People have taken it upon themselves to profit by giving you something that I know you like, and then you turn around and basically call them greedy lazy and incompetent just because the thing they gave you FOR FREE wasnt perfect. Do you not see how that is super spoiled and mean? 

Just tell them what you want, and then wait for them to give it to you. And if you don't feel like doing that, then leave.

@Daze623Absolutely. I just wanted to go through that process with him so he realises that saying ''be grateful it's free game'' sounds ridiculous, doesn't and shouldn't exclude them from criticism or the devs using that as an excuse not to make improvements they're more than capable of.

On topic though, if the situation server side isn't changing (static map with no other players/drain on resources ect) and your hardware isn't loading graphics for rest of map then does it make much difference if it's cut out or not unless you're on high ground where it's in view or unoptimized area where it'll effect you?

In KC and Skulltowns case there are lots of areas for this though.

@Daze623 I'm not saying that the game should be exempt from criticism. You don't see me saying all this under threads about the cheating problem because that's actually something that they need to fix. But catering to your demands about which maps should be in rotation is not their job. You complaining doesn't help them improve any more than expressing your opinions in a positive way. All you've done is stack negativity on top of your opinion, it's so not necessary. Like, you're literally insulting me because I'm telling you not to be a * to people that you don't even know. 

Besides, it's not even like Skulltown is just gone forever. They're just taking it out of rotation like they do with all their maps all the time.

And in the midst of all this outrage about about Skulltown, are we not at all excited for Thunderdome??? That was like my favorite part of KC.
