There is no point in staying after dieing, nerfed loot and new circle makes respawning pointless. Unless it's ranked and you wanna just camp for higher placement, there is no point in staying.
Congratulations you made leaving a better option than staying in unranked.

There definately is a point to staying.
Recently in a match two of or squad mates died and were respawned, we went on to win the match. That would not have happened if one ot both of the killed players (1 was me) had left the game.
I have no issue with leavers if you've been abandoned or you run off on your own and get killed ('cause I ain't comming to get you no matter how many times you ping your box.) If you are working as a team, staying to get respawned is well worth it.
Anyways, most of the time mid-late game your re-looting out of death boxes!
