You've all been playing the different Legends for a while now, and we thought it would be fun to have some discussions about specific Legends and how you feel they fit into the game right now. Next up is Bloodhound! If you want to check out Bloodhound's background ("unknown" shows up quite a bit) and abilities you can see them here.So, how do you feel about the Technological Tracker right now? Are they sitting in a balanced position? Do you like their Ult or do you have issues with the effects? How do you feel about the risk vs reward of the tactical?Let us know how you feel below.

I don't have much playtime on bloodhound but i always found his scan ability to be really wonky, the range is so short and sometimes it doesn't seem to pick up enemies even though they should be in range. Tbh just listening for footsteps seems more reliable, have more range and is not on a cooldown so the scan just seems kind of redundant to me.I like his passive though, sadly it doesn't seem like many bloodhound players ping any of the tracks they come across. I honestly find that to be his strongest ability. His ultimate has a lot of *. The activation time and the heavy breathing means you hear him practically across the map and know hes coming, mostly see Bloodhounds use it to run away lol.

I've played a fair bit with Bloodhound and want to share my thoughts here! STYLE AND APPEARANCE Absolutely great, he has some really great skins and his voice is authentic and amazing. TRACKER - Passive The hints shown in the UI are small and subtle, just how I like them. The birds that appear at certain spots when you find tracks are also great. I cannot remember players in my team passing on the hints that they find with Bloodhound. I cannot tell if they are unaware of this feature or just find it a waste of time. The time hints stick around is not too long (<1min) which makes the ability more useful in my opinion. Showing hints from too long ago are vague and don't give that much info. What people also not seem to know is that you can zoom in with snipers to see and ping hints that are further away from yourself. EYE OF THE ALLFATHER - Tactical The radar-cone that extents when using it gives away your position too much. Often it is better to look at the hints or use Beast of the hunt instead of the scan-ability. The orange screen clutter makes it often hard to track enemies that you see immediately after you use the ability. I would much rather have the animation a bit turned down. Even better, I would suggest reworking the ability a bit to make it more useful. Instead of showing the radar cone to the enemies, give the spotted enemies a warning screen or some glitchy hint that they have been spotted. He is a tracker, show enemies that they have been spotted, but don't give up the position of Bloodhound himself or clutter up his screen with too much orange animations. BEAST OF THE HUNT - Ultimate The update to make this ability more friendly to color blind people did work out and I have read a lot of great responses to it! The only drawback I have with the ability is that the wind-up time is quite long, which might not be a problem but I still have to get used to it. side note: this ultimate gives me the impression that I am invincible as I feel awesome when using it GENERAL Fewer players within my squad choose to play Bloodhound over time. I've moved on to others as well, as I feel that his abilities are solid, but don't give me much advantages in a 1vs1 fight. The last week, almost zero players in my squad choose Bloodhound (random people and friends), which is a bit sad for a well-developed character. As conclusion, I would suggest buffing him a bit, making his tactical less obvious to other players and see how things go from there.

It's really hard to see enemies sometimes so for myself along with feedback from those with color blindness it can be tough to use. I think this type of Legend is fit for a more passive player and squad. The tracking ability is by far one of the best abilities in the game if you take advantage of it. As long as they don't see you, spying on them until they get into a firefight or ambush while they're looting will give you a quick edge. The Eye of the Allfather was super useful in a game where a squad was hiding in a building with Caustic and Bangalore. Traps were placed inside and they smoke the inside so it was hard to see them. Bloodhound kept scanning which eventually irritated us enough to make a push in there, only to get ambushed.

Bloodhound is fun, I like the background that has been given and the ability are interesting. Give a good advantage if are looking for people, not a major fan of the quick scan ability as it gives away where you are. The ultimate is great for chasing and retreating with added speed with the highlight of enemies. I normally play super aggro with this legend my self. /Atic

He is great, i was running with my team to get in the zone and saw some footsteps leading into some buildings and did a quick scan to see a full squad waiting in there for us just to take us from behind. I love his tracking abilities, makes him one of a kind.Both his tactical and ultimate are risky since they expose you to the enemy as well but very good situational skills to have.Very well balanced hero.

The tactical needs a buff, and the ult needs some quality of life changes.
Tactical:
Maybe make it so it highlights the player for 2 seconds that slowly fades away instead of a distracting bright afterimage because at the moment, the only thing the skill is useful for is confirming that an opponent is in a building or behind a rock, when your passive kind of does that already.
Ult:
Make it so that it highlights enemy bullets or ults. For example, I can't even see Bangalore's ult warning against the background.
Make it highlight drops and gears, not just the purple and gold items, but the blue and white ones as well.

Decent. Hitbox is "middle-sized" compared to others. The Q is nigh-useless and can even be disorienting at critical moments, hardly ever use it. Passive is nifty but not overly impactful, while the Ultimate has reasonable drawbacks to the benefits it offers. Cooldown is perhaps a bit high on both.
As far as recommended changes go, just needs some improvement to the Q, really.

His tactical just can't cut it. I just don't see the point of having an ability to scan for people when I can hear them coming from farther away than the scan reaches. I understand that there are other uses for it but in general I don't think it's a good tactical to have.
If his gimmick is detection it needs to be a little more threatening to the opponents. Right now it doesn't reach or gives your position away to people who aren't really that far from you to begin with.

I have had a great time with bloodhound as a beginner, and his abilitys have really helped me out.
