Literally 100% percent of my Arenas teammates are under level 5

Ran a fun test over the last week.

Queued with my friend (we are both Masters players).

The test involved exactly 100 matches. EVERY single one of those 100 games gave us a teammate under level 5. Brand new players. Our opponents were ALWAYS Diamond or above. I think that “hard patterns” like this are hard to come by. I’ve never actually seen a 100% stat on any of the various tests I have run.

-Our average waiting time for a match was 6:34 minutes

-Of the 100 games, we won 4

Thoughts?

@Axs5626Sxa5001 Would be interesting to see the thirds avg level if you ran the exact test with a diamond or plat/duo.
Pretty sure your third would be higher but the avg level would be interesting to see.

As tiring as these tests are, I will continue to run them. Honestly, the results are disenchanting. Obviously the newer players are having a horrendous time and getting melted every match. And the skilled players are burdened with what is essentially a handicap match. Plus waiting more than 5 minutes for a NON-RANKED mode is just absolutely ridiculous.

Just leaves me scratching my head— how could a dev think this is “what’s best”? What is the goal? “Fairness?” Yeah, no.

They are smurfs mostly that had one good game with Bots .Report Smurfs DO IT

@scivirus No. They weren’t smurfs. These were new players who got constantly melted first.

gold players have smurfs too but also like i said they probably had a good Game before ..Respawn does not know how to analyze data they base Skill on the amount of kills per games there is more to that

yeah arenas matchmaking just sucks idk why? I might dare say it's rigged as well

@Axs5626Sxa5001 Yeah, Arenas matchmaking doesn't feel like it exists most of the time. I've never played ranked before, but I'm level 497 and I've been playing off and on since the day Apex was released.

But I get paired with and against level 3's who are genuinely new to the game a lot. It's hard when you get paired with a genuinely new player who isn't great - and I feel awful when I'm put against a genuinely new player and I just absolutely melt them the instant they pop up, for the easiest wins of my life. It's not fun for anyone involved.

There's always 300ish players in queue for Arenas, at least according to the counter they show, so I don't see why newer players couldn't be allowed to pair against each other so they get a more fair fight.
