Not in any way trying to politicize this, but I am curious: are your toxic randoms always (or almost always) guys? Personally I started muting my squads three years ago so I really don't have any sense at all any more of how obnoxious people can be or are in general. It just saddens me to think they might be all guys, but also it doesn't sound at all unlikely.
In any event, I'll apologize for my gender: I'm sorry some guys can be such jerks.
