Loot Goblins

Last time I checked loot was available on a first-come-first-served basis. I make it a habit to drop away from squadmates for this reason, and so very many others. Of course, that doesn't work if you prefer a hot drop, but if you do then you have a whole other set of problems that we'll have to save for another time....

@XHelperZ sometimes they say they need it and other times don't say anything at all and just keep moving. Then, once in a blue moon, they will drop me a stack of ammo.

@reconzero I should rephrase, I meant from deathboxes, of which I worked for. Earlier, I killed 2 enemies myself and my teammates just slurped everything up. I mentioned it to them and one said they needed stuff too. I replied, "I need stuff too and I killed both of them myself". They didn't give me anything. Noob mentality...take everything.

@swift07 How do I say this without sounding like a *.......I feel like worrying about who gets what loot is a noob mentality. If you don't have stuff go find it somewhere else or let them die and get it then.

@hayhor it's not about who gets what loot, it's about teammates taking everything and me not having ammo to defend more teams pushing. There's no time for me to loot. While my teammates only do 50 and 100 damage.

@hayhor does it not bother you when teammates take everything after you solely killed the opponents with no help from them, and they just walk in and take everything and you don't even have ammo? Then get pushed by another team and both teammates get knocked and you have no ammo. Do I not have a reason to be irritated when these things happen?

@swift07 Does it bother me? Not for very long. As I said, if I need something I ping for it. If they don't give it I move to a safer area to loot for what I need. If they go fight and die that's on them. The thing I don't do is go rush into another fight with nothing.

Okay, that's a different story. I usually hear the expression "loot goblin" describing a player who will ignore teammates pinging enemies in order to continue a search for gear. That kind of thing.

Yeah, I've had teammates snatch my gear out a replicator. Insta-quit.
